Three suspects in the murder of Saman Wijesiri have been arrested

Saman Wijesiri, 63, of Chilaw, has been working as a Chartered Engineer at the World Bank and the Ministry of Economic Development since 2018.

Investigators have found documents prepared to mislead investigators that Mr. Wijesiri had left the country, and police have arrested three people in connection with his murder.

 The inquest into the murder of Inspector Manjula de Silva Ltd. and the Organized Crime Division have issued warnings.
