Three military personnel vaccinated against COVID19

Three army personnel have been vaccinated against COVID-19 on January 29.

 

They recieved the Oxford-AstraZeneca’s COVISHIELD vaccines at the Army Hospital in Colombo.

 

Sri Lanka began the vaccination process agaianst COVID-19 at 8 hospitals in the Western Province. 

 

The vaccination program is anticipated to commence in other provinces from January 30 (tomorrow).

 

As per the sources, Dr Ananda Wijewickrama became the first medical officer in Sri Lanka to recieve the vaccine and he recieved it at the IDH .
