Three arrested for trying to sell elephant pearls

Three persons have been arrested for trying to sell 10 elephant pearls in the Waripathanchena area in Ampara on a tip off received by the STF.

 

The arrested suspects had tried to sell the elephant pearls for close to Rs. 10 million.

 

The arrested suspects and the drugs were handed over to the Eragama Police for further investigations.
