Three inmates escape from Kalutara Prison

Three inmates  have escaped from  Kalutara Prison on August 2, stated a spokesman of the prison.

 

The said inmates had been held separated from the other  inmates for quarantine purposes.

 

However, one of the escaped inmates has been recaptured at the Kalutara Town in a raid by prison officials and the police.

 

A joint operation has been launched by the prison officials and Police to arrest the other two inmates.
