The president rejects the resignation of Ali Sabri

President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has rejected the resignation of Justice Minister Ali Sabri following disappointment over a gazette notification issued on the concept of one law for one country.

 

According to senior political sources, President Rajapaksa has been in discussions with Sabri over the past few days and the Ministry of Justice is likely to amend the gazette notification in line with the original concept of the One Country One Law Policy.
