The new chairman who won the toss

The election of the new Chairman of the Tangalle Municipal Council was held yesterday (26) by testing the advantage of the coin.

Ravindu Wedaarachchi, the former chairman of the Tangalle Municipal Council, which was controlled by the UNP, was removed from the post of chairman of the party for supporting the Samagi Jana Balawega.

Accordingly, the advantage of the coin had to be tested to elect a new chairman.
W.P. Ariyadasa of the People's Front was elected as the new Chairman by winning the toss.
