The new Delta Plus variant is spreading rapidly around the world

Delta Plus has also been reported as a rapidly expanding complication with more covid subtype.

 

Dr. Ranjith Batuwantuda, Director, Health Promotion Bureau, says that as Sri Lanka currently provides vaccinations to a large percentage of the population, there is a risk that the Delta Plus variant could spread to Sri Lanka if people do not follow health guidelines.
