The chairman of the CPC says there is no need to fear for fuel reserves

The government including the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Finance are currently discussing ways to provide relief to the people without increasing fuel prices, said the Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation Sumith Wijesinghe.

He said they were discussing how to intervene to minimize the loss to the corporation.
