The biggest Covid treatment centre in the Central Province

Handing over the special covid treatment center which can facilitate 1000 patients built in the Mahamewna Meditation Center in Kundasale, Kandy was handed over to the Central province Health Department yesterday, 12th of June.

 

The total expenses for this treatment unit is about 12 million rupees and it is considered the biggest Inter treatment center in the Central province.

 

All the construction and maintenance of the center is done by the 2nd Division of Sri Lanka Army and the Financial sponsorship is held by the MAS Holdings. The entire construction is observed by the Engineers of the Engineering Service Department and the Central Province Health Ministry.
