The PM has advised not to summon journalists to the CID : Dullas Alahapperuma

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has instructed the relevant officials not to summon journalists to the CID. Cabinet spokesman Dullas Alahapperuma said that he had exposed the garlic fraud to the media.

The Minister said that he was sorry about this incident and that such an incident should not have happened.

The complaint was lodged by an official of the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA)
