Strong winds to continue, naval & fishing communities warned of rough seas

According to the Department of Meteorology, the prevailing wind conditions in the western and southern sea areas and the southern half of the island are expected to further develop due to the active southwest monsoon.

The general public is advised to take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning in those areas during thunderstorms.
