Sri Lanka-South Korea foreign relations on a new path

Foreign Minister GL Peiris yesterday During his meeting with Mr. Peiris, South Korean Ambassador to Sri Lanka Santhush Tunjin Jiong said that priority would be given to enhancing special relations between Sri Lanka and South Korea.

The South Korean Ambassador further stated that his country is committed to assisting Sri Lanka in bilateral and multilateral affairs.

The Ministry of External Affairs stated that the importance of developing Korean language education in Sri Lanka was also discussed at the meeting.
