President appoints a new Commission of Inquiry to study human rights allegations

A three member panel has been appointed to probe the findings of former war commissions.

 

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has appointed the said panel and a  gazette notification has been issued over the appointment .

 

The panel is  headed by Judge of the Supreme Court A.H.M.D. Nawaz.
