Shah Rukh Khan's son has been granted bail in a drug case

The son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been released on bail 26 days after he was arrested for using fun drugs at a party.

 

Aryan Khan, 23, was evacuated from Mumbai on October 2 by a ship bound for Goa.

 

Aryan Khan's lawyers entered the Mumbai High Court after a special court hearing on drugs twice denied him bail in October.

 

The Special Court also rejected the bail applications of two of the accused in the case.

 

It was argued that Aryan Khan could not be treated differently than the 17 accused in the case and therefore should not be released on bail.
