Schools to remain closed this week

According to the Ministry of Education, all government and government approved private schools across the island will be closed this week.

The decision was taken in a virtual meeting held yesterday with officials of the Ministry of Education, Provincial Secretaries and Directors of Education.

Accordingly, it was decided to announce a one-week holiday from 04th to 08th July for government and government approved private schools.
