Saudi princess and her daughter released

The Saudi princess and her daughter, who were held in a high security prison for more than three years without charge, have been released.

 

Princess Basma Bint South was detained by Saudi authorities in March 2019 while preparing to travel to Switzerland for medical treatment.

 

Critics say she may be holding back from appearing on humanitarian issues and constitutional reform.
