Sarath Weerasekara sworn in as the Cabinet Minister for Public Security

Rear Admiral (retd) and State Minister for Local Government and Provincial Councils Sarath Weerasekera took oaths as the Minster of Public Security today.

The Police Department, the Civil Defence Force and a few other institutions connected to public security have been gazetted under this ministry.
