STF rescues abducted 14-year-old girl

 

Police Special Task Force officers have managed to rescue a girl who was being kidnapped in Lunugala area.

It was reported that the 14-year-old girl had been abducted on August 3, and after informing the Lunugala police, the officers of the Lunugala and Passara Police Special Task Force started investigations to find the missing girl.

Accordingly, the abducted girl and the two suspects involved in the abduction have been arrested at Lunugala Udakiruwa Reserve.

It is reported that the arrested suspects are aged 18 and 53, residing in Beruwala and Lunugala areas.
