STF officer was shot in the head and died

The body of a Special Task Force (STF) officer who was presumed dead in a shooting has been found.

 

The body has been placed at the Diyatalawa Base Hospital and the cause of death is being investigated.

 

The deceased has been identified as a 54 year old officer attached to the Haputale STF camp.
