SL's new Parliament session to commence on August 20

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa made a declaration on  summoning the new Parliament via an Extraordinary Gazette., on August 13.

 

The said declaration states that the Parliament is to meet in the Chamber of Parliament, Sri Jayawardenepura, on August 20 at 09.30 a.m..

 

The appoinment of the new Speaker , Deputy Speaker and other designations are also to be made on the same day.
