Repatriation flights to SL restricted

The Government has reached a decision to restrict flights repatriating Sri Lankans stranded overseas from today (October 8) owing to the detection of a new COVID-19 cluster in the country.

 

Chief Epidemiologist Dr. Sudath Samaraweera stated that the said decision has been reached while taking the growing COVID-19 cluster, capacity of quarantine facilities, and hospitals required to contain the outbreak, in to account.
