Qatar Fund for Development sends 4.7 tons of urgent medical aid to Sri Lanka

 

A shipment of emergency medical aid has arrived in Sri Lanka, provided by the Qatar Fund for Development to support the country's health sector, QNA reports.

Qatari Ambassador to Sri Lanka Mr. Jassim bin Jaber Al Soror received the Qatari medical aid and presented it to the Minister of Health Mr. Keheliya Rambukwella.

The Qatar Fund for Development said in a statement that emergency medical assistance plays a key role in health promotion and contributes to easing the burden on Sri Lanka's medical sector.
