Postal workers on strike urged to report for work

Postmaster General Ranjith Ariyaratne says that if the striking postal workers do not report to work immediately, they will be considered to have resigned from their positions.

He added that the postal unions will inform in writing today in this regard.

Due to the crisis situation in the country, it was decided to operate all post offices and sub post offices across the island only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
