Police officers' leave cancelled until 15th June

The leave of all the police personnels' will be cancelled further until 15th of June 2021, said the Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana.

He further stated that due to deploying a considerable number of police officers in the duties related to Covid-19 pandemic and quarantine processes, earlier the leave were cancelled from 11th - 31st of May.

However, since the quarantine procedures are to be carried out further until 7th of June as the travel restrictions were extended, the service of more police officers is required further. In order to fulfill the requirement, their leave has been cancelled till 15th of June with effect from 1st of June 2021, as he stated.
