Police give update in relation to Kohuwela burnt car

Samples have been gathered to carry out a DNA test to identify the charred remains discovered  inside a burnt car in Kohuwala on March 10.

 

As per the sources, the samples were gathered today (March 12) in order to confirm if the remains belong to the 33-year-old businessman from Kohuwala, who is suspected to be the victim.

 

Furthermore, samples have also been gathered  to carry out a PCR test.

 

The post mortem examination will be carried out following the reciept of  the results of the DNA and PCR tests.
