Parliament closed STF personnel tests positive for COVID-19

A set of STF personnel attached to the VIP security Unit have tested positive for coronavirus .

 

Consequently, three camps of the Police Special Task Force (STF)  Peliyagoda,  Kohuwela and  Wedamulla have been isolated.

 

The Deputy Secretary General of Parliament stated that the parliament will remain closed today (October 25) and tomorrow  (October 26) for the disinfection process.

 

As per the sources,  a new team of STF personnels will be  deployed by the  STF Headquarters
