Opposition Leader urges govt to lift state of emergency

 

The opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa says that the state of emergency should be removed immediately and the repressive actions of the government should be stopped.

He said that the government led by President Ranil Wickremesinghe will be requested not to destroy the democracy of this country.

Speaking here, SJB Member of Parliament Kabir Hashim said that his party always stands for the right thing with a policy.
