Occupants asked to vacate Galle Face protest site

The Colombo Fort police have informed the people staying in temporary tents and temporary houses at the site of the Colombo Fort Gallumuwadora protests to vacate the premises by 5.00 pm on August 5.

The law enforcement authorities stressed that legal action will be taken against those who fail to follow the instructions.

Issuing a statement, the residents of Galle mouth are requested to behave in accordance with the law of the land so that the public is not affected.
