Notice to motorists using Horana - Colombo road

Development work on the Piliyandala Bokundara Bridge on the Colombo-Horana Road will commence today (13), the Road Development Authority announced.

There will be two lanes for vehicles traveling towards Colombo from 3.00 pm and one lane for vehicles traveling towards Horana.

Vehicles traveling towards Colombo will use only one lane until 6.00 pm and vehicles traveling in the opposite direction will use only two lanes.

Vehicles traveling from Horana to Colombo can reach Galle Road via Piliyandala Katubedda and proceed to Colombo.

Vehicles traveling from Horana to Werahera can cross the Galle Road and Ratmalana Borupana Road to reach Werahera.
