Non-vaccinated persons are prohibited from entering Bandarawela and Mannar

Health officials said that people over the age of 30 who have not been vaccinated will not be allowed to enter Mannar and Bandarawela from yesterday.

Roadblocks will be set up at the Bandarawela and Mannar entrances to prevent unvaccinated people from entering the cities.

People who tried to enter those cities without a vaccination card were turned away and the decision was made to encourage people who did not want to be vaccinated, health officials said.
