NMRA approves 29% price increase for pharmaceutical drugs

The State Ministry of Pharmaceutical Products, Supplies and Regulation yesterday approved a reasonable price increase for drug importers due to rising exchange rates.

Representatives of the Board of Pharmaceutical Industries of Sri Lanka (SLCPI) met with Prof. Channa Jayasumana and NMRA officials to discuss the importation of pharmaceuticals.
