Medical donations from India and Indonesia to Sri Lanka

India and Indonesia have come forward to supply Sri Lanka with medicines and surgical supplies as there is a health crisis with the shortage of medicines and essential items in Sri Lankan hospitals.

Accordingly, 101 types of medicines and surgical equipment donated by the Government of India are expected to arrive in Sri Lanka next Wednesday, Minister Prof. Channa Jayasumana said.
