Levy imposed on sanitary products to be reduced

 

State Minister for Women and Children's Affairs Mrs. Geeta Kumarasinghe says that the President has ordered to reduce the taxes imposed on hygiene products.

Speaking in Parliament today (Sept. 21), the Minister of State further said that the President has informed to reduce the port and airport development tax, cess tax and customs duties imposed on imported sanitary napkins.
