Indian HC meets political leaders of Northern and Eastern Provinces

High Commissioner H.E  Shri Gopal Baglay has held a a number of meetings with several political party leaders in Jaffna and Trincomalee on March 13  which was the third day of his visit to the Northern and Eastern Provinces.

 

 

The High Commissioner interacted with political leaders of TNA from the Eastern Province and  many practical suggestions were made to the High Commissioner in relation to the infrastructure development, skill development, water and irrigation, women empowerment and investment in energy and Information Technology.

 

The High Commissioner assured India’s continued engagement in  the development of the Eastern Province.
