Indian Army Commander arrives in Sri Lanka on a friendly visit

Indian Army Chief of Staff (COAS) General Manoj Mukund Narawana arrived in Sri Lanka today on a five-day friendly visit to the country, the Army said.
A five-member delegation, including General Narawane and his wife, arrived at the invitation of his Chief of Defense Staff and Commander of the Army, General Shavendra Silva.
The Commander of the Indian Army will be able to watch the final performance of the bilateral military exercise 'Mithra Shakthi' to be held at the Maduruoya Special Forces Training School on Thursday (14).
