IGP Wickramaratne summoned by High Court

A panel of judges of the Colombo High Court has appointed IGP C.D. Wickramaratne has been summoned to appear in court on November 29.

 

Wickramaratne has been summoned to give evidence in the case filed against former IGP Pujith Jayasundara for failing to take steps to prevent the 2019 Easter Sunday bombings.

 

The case was taken up before High Court Judges Namal Balalle, Aditya Patabendige and Mohamed Irshadeen today.
