I do not regret not being elected to Parliament in the last general election - Ranil

Former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today said he does not regret much about not getting elected to Parliament at the last general elections, but saddened to note what the elected MPs were doing.

He said this when ideas were exchanged between the government and opposition MPs to raise questions at the Prime Minister and on the suspension of sectoral oversight committees.

Mr. Gunawardene assured that Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa is always ready to answer the questions raised by the members of Parliament.
