Focus on weather today

Showers or thundershowers at times in the Eastern, Northern, North-Central and Uva provinces and in the Hambantota and Matale districts.

 

Showers or thundershowers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Northwestern provinces and in the Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle and Matara districts during the evening or night.

 
Foggy conditions are expected in the Western and Sabaragamuwa Provinces and in some places in the Galle and Matara Districts during the morning.

 

The general public is kindly requested to take adequate measures to minimize the dangers posed by temporary strong winds and lightning in those areas during thundershowers.
