Showers or thundershowers at times in the Western Province and in the Galle and Matara districts.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva and Eastern provinces and in the Hambantota district during the evening.

Heavy showers of more than 50 mm are expected in the Central and Uva Provinces and in some places in the Hambantota and Ampara Districts.
                                     

The general public is kindly requested to take adequate measures to minimize the dangers posed by temporary strong winds and lightning in those areas during thundershowers.
