Fees for obtaining NICs revised

 

The Department of Registration of Persons has revised the fees for obtaining National Identity Cards (NIC).

The tariffs have been revised with effect from 01 November 2022 through an extraordinary gazette issued by the Ministry of Public Security.

Accordingly, the fee for the first time National Identity Card is now Rs. 200 and the fee for duplicates is Rs. 1,000.
