Director of the Medical Research Institute Dr. Jayaruwan Bandara removed from post

Dr. Jayaruwan Bandara has been removed from his post as the Director of the Medical Research Institute of Sri Lanka.

 

The decision has been announced in a circular issued by the Secretary to the Ministry of Health Major General Dr. Sanjeeva Munasinghe.

 

Deputy Director of the Medical Research Institute Dr. Prabath Amarasingha has been appointed as the new Director, replacing Dr. Bandara.

 

Meanwhile, Dr. Jayaruwan Bandara has been appointed as the Deputy Director of the Medical Research Institute of Sri Lanka.
