Dinesh writes new page for Tokyo Paralympics

Sri Lanka's Dinesh Priyan Herath has set a new world record in the F46 javelin throw event at the Tokyo Paralympic Games.

Dinesh Priyan, who won a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Paralympics, has won the gold medal this time by throwing a javelin distance of 67.79 meters.

The 35-year-old resident of Anuradhapura recorded his best distance on the first try.
