CoI presents the summary of the final report examining the prior rights investigations and findings

 

Mr. Nawaz today presented a summary of recommendations including the drafts of the final report of the AHMD Commission, the Chairman of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry appointed to investigate the findings of the Supreme Court Judge and previous commissions and committees.

PMD reports that Justice Nawaz emphasized the need to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Office of Missing Persons, the Office of Reparations and the Office of National Unity and Reconciliation and also referred to the Sri Lanka Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
