Basil Rajapaksa acquitted of 'Lith' distribution case

The Colombo High Court today (Feb. 01) acquitted Minister Basil Rajapaksa and former Director General of the Divineguma Department Kithsiri Ranawaka in the 2015 panchanga ('lith') distribution case.

Minister Rajapaksa and Kithsiri Ranawaka were accused of misusing Rs. 1 billion from the Divi Neguma Department.
