Bangladesh hopes that Sri Lanka will repay the $200 million loan within the stipulated time

 

As the economic situation in Sri Lanka is improving, Bangladesh expects to get back the money borrowed by Sri Lanka by September this year, says the foreign minister in Dhaka.

"Sri Lanka is gradually getting better. They are slowly recovering. We have given them time till September (to repay the debt)," Foreign Minister AK Abdul Moman told reporters at Padma Rajya Guest House on Sunday afternoon. Awaiting repayment by Sri Lanka.
