Assurance from the President to avert the current power crisis

The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) says that President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has assured that necessary steps will be taken to avert the power crisis in the country.

Chairman of the Electricity Regulatory Authority Janaka Ratnayake said that the Treasury and the Central Bank will ensure the ease of importing fuel for power generation with immediate effect.
