Ashok Abeysinghe records 5-hour statement with CID for comments on Easter Sunday terror attacks

Parliamentarian Ashok Abeysinghe has left the Criminal Investigation Department (CID)  after recording a 5 hour statement.

 

He was summoned to the CID on March 11 to record a statement in relation to his comments on the 2019 April Attacks stated that Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana.

 

He was accompanied to the CID by Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa and many other MPs of the party.
