Another shipment of 65,000 Sputnik V vaccines arrived

Another shipment of 65,000 Sputnik V vaccines arrived Sri Lanka yesterday by an Emerates EK648 aircraft on yesterday morning.

This shipment came with freezer cargos and stored inside the freezer rooms established in main stores of Katunayake air port cargo village. They will transport to Colombo by freezer trucks today.

50,000 doses from this shipment will be used as the first dose and rest 15,000 will be used as the second dose, said Prof. Channa Jayasumana The state minister.
