A kilo of sugar is given for 125 rupees - State Minister Lasantha

State Minister of Consumer Protection Lasantha Alagiyawanna stated that a kilogram of sugar will be sold at Rs. 125 within the next two weeks.

The Minister said that steps would be taken to reduce the current price hike in the coming week, adding that raids could not be carried out as no control price had been imposed on sugar.
