9 Sri Lankans living in Turkey's earthquake affected areas are safe - Envoy

 

The Sri Lankan ambassador in Ankara says that all the 9 Sri Lankans who are believed to be in the earthquake-affected areas of Turkey are safe and 08 of them have already been found.

Ambassador Hasanti Urugodawatta Dissanayake told the 9th person who lives in a building that collapsed due to the earthquake was not there at the time of the incident and has not been contacted so far.

Our reports show that there were 09 Sri Lankans in the areas where the earthquake occurred in Turkey.
